Have you ever showered while enjoying the most beautiful sunset? Have you ever slept in a cozy cave, literally having the mountain rock as your night table? Have you ever done the dishes while enjoying a sea view? This getaway will offer you all the above and much much more.

There is no more unique way to explore the island of Milos and its rough side than staying in Robert’s Cave. But beware, it also takes a special kind of person to really enjoy this experience - the bathroom, as well as the kitchen, are outdoors and the cave-like living space built into the mount is what Airbnb hosts classify as 'cozy' meaning, very small, but filled with character! As small as the room may be, the infinite view, makes you feel like Leonardo DiCaprio on the Bow of the TITANIC - "the King of the world!!". Reconnect with nature and be reminded that joy is hidden in the simple things.

Location

Robert's Cave is located in Kastro, the upper part of Plaka, the capital of Milos. The two balconies of the house will offer you 220° panoramic view of the entire bay of Milos island. Probably the most magnificent view of the Aegean, especially when it is time for its marvelous Cycladic sunset.

The centre of Plaka, the capital of Milos, is just a 2-minute walk away. There you have plenty of choices for food, nightlife and shopping. Getting around on Milos by car is preferable to make sure that you are able to reach those off-road parts of great interest, however, the municipality of Milos offers public transport by bus which can take you to key spots of the island. The accommodation is only 11 minutes aways by car from the port of Adamas and can also be reached by public transport or taxi. The airport (MLO) is only a 17 minute drive away.

Activities

Milos offers plenty of activities, mainly during summertime. From swimming to water sports, and sea tours to sightseeing, simply put, it is impossible to get bored. That is the reason Milos is one of the top tourist destinations in Greece.

The Aphrodite of Milos, residing today in the Louvre museum, was found some kilometers away from our house near Klima. The Archaeological Museum of Milos and the catacombs are definitely some of the most beautiful places to visit for those that enjoy history and culture.

Of course, food on a Greek island can never be praised enough. Quality seafood can be found in many restaurants in Adamas, Plaka, and Pollonia. When you come, we will be happy to share our favorite places with you, just ask :)
