FAQ

Will the clips damage my clothes?

No. The wire clips are designed with smooth edges that grip the fabric without pinching or leaving marks. Safe for delicate fabrics including silk and linen.

Can I use these clips as skirt hanger clips?

Yes, they work perfectly as skirt hanger clips. Clip at the waistband on both sides and hang straight. Works for all skirt lengths and fabrics.

How do I hang trousers without creases using clips?

Clip the waistband at both sides - left and right - so the trousers hang evenly. The integrated brakes keep the clips exactly where you place them, so your trousers stay straight and crease-free.

How many clips do I need?

Each pack contains 20 wire clips. For most items you'll use 2 clips per garment - so one pack gives you 10 clip hangers. For matching sets you might use 4 clips to keep both pieces on one hanger.

I don't need that many as clip hangers. What else can I use the clips for?

More than you'd think. Obviously they're great as hanger clips for your wardrobe but wire clips are genuinely useful all over the house:

  • Hanging laundry on a drying rack or washing line
  • Sealing open food bags - crisps, pasta, coffee
  • Holding bags closed in the freezer
  • Even hanging artwork, cards or photos on a rope or wire

20 clips go a long way. Use them in the wardrobe, keep a few in the kitchen, leave some in the drawer for whenever you need one. You're always welcome to surprise us with more creative uses : )

Can I use the clips with other hangers?

The clips are designed specifically to work with Peppermint Rope Hangers, Loop Rope and S-Hooks. They attach to the rope section of the hanger, so they won't work with standard wooden or plastic hangers.

Do I need to buy new hangers to use the clips?

Not if you already own Peppermint hangers - the clips attach retrospectively to any Rope Hanger you already have. If you're new to Peppermint, you'll need a Rope Hanger to use them with.

How it works

Turn your Peppermint hanger (or hook, or loop rope) into a designer hanger for skirts, trousers, and more, in seconds. Simply unlatch the hanger over the top of the hook, place the clip, and bring it back to position. Don't worry, the hanger won't lose its shape, it is designed to work this way.
