where is your power strip right now?

The problem

I've noticed that every room needs (at least) one power strip, and nobody wants to look at it. So they end up behind the sofa, under the desk tangled in cables, or behind a plant bought mainly to hide them.

My idea

A power strip you don’t have to hide when guests arrive. One you’d actually leave out on the desk, the sideboard or the wall - something between a tool and a design object.

How it works

I imagined a heavy, powder-coated steel body on rubber feet, so it stays put when you pull out a plug instead of sliding off the desk after it. The finely textured coating keeps it minimal and resists scratches. It could stand on the desk or mount on the wall.
