One part of the Peppermint team is quarantined on a beautiful Greek island, another part in a city apartment without a balcony - what a life. We have been thinking about what this challenging new reality means for us as individuals, designers and brands.
What is the impact on ourselves and on our creativity? What challenges are in store for us, Peppermint Products, but also for many other small design labels? What can we do to reduce the consequences of the Coronavirus crisis for our fellow indiviualls & creators and to come out of it as winners in the widest sense of the word? After all, there is a lesson to learn out of every difficult situation...
How we decided to join the campaign
We came across the "Gutes für Gutes" campaign through another design brand and the concept won us over immediately: the fundraising initiative aims to help Corona aid programmes and at the same time raise awareness about supporting small designer brands that are facing challenges. We unanimously decided to join in!
We are donating 25% of all purchases to the project "Die Arche"
The project "Die Arche" is committed to permanently improving the living conditions of underprivileged children and families in Germany. Due to the closure of all its sites, the children now no longer have access to free food supplies for an unknown period of time. With a donation, food packages are bundled and delivered to the families in need. In addition, contact with the children is maintained via telephone, WhatsApp and visual media to ensure a social exchange and to read and play together online.
